Health Days 2024

On March 22 and 26, 2024, Réseau Santé Alberta held two Health Days — one in Edmonton and one in Calgary.

On the agenda:

-The bilateral agreement between RSA, the provincial ACFA, the Francophone Secretariat,
and the Government of Alberta
-Cognitive health with our Champions of Cognitive Health training funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program
-The research project: immigrant health for an overall portrait of the state of health of Francophone immigrants from Saskatchewan, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Alberta, Nunavut and Newfoundland and Labrador
-Health promotion in French and the interpretation and translation service of Alberta Health Services

Among our presenters, we were joined by researcher and Dr. Boniface Bahi (University of Alberta), our health agent Céline Bossé (RSA), Rhéal Poirier (Francophone Secretariat), Amy Vachon-Chabot (ACFA), Sylvie Lebihan (AHS), Kayathiri Ganeshamoorthy (AHS), Jocelyne Beaulieu (our host) and Ms. Kim Simmonds (Assistant Deputy Minister of AH).
