Thanks to the “Healthy Early Childhood” (HEC) project, funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Alberta Health Network (AHR) and its various early childhood partners are working with the Société Santé en français (SSF) to strengthen community capacity. The HEC project’s objectives are:
- To plan comprehensive, culturally and linguistically appropriate interventions and health promotion programs to improve the health and development of children (0 to 6 years old) and their families.
- To improve access to early childhood health promotion programs in order to reduce early childhood health inequities in these communities.
