Healthy Early Childhood

Thanks to the “Healthy Early Childhood” (HEC) project funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, Réseau santé Alberta and its various early childhood partners, in collaboration with Société Santé en français, are working to strengthen community capacity. The objectives of the HEC project are:

• To plan comprehensive, culturally and linguistically appropriate interventions and health promotion programs to improve the health and development of children (ages 0 to 6) and their families.
• To improve access to early childhood health promotion programs in order to reduce health inequities among young children in these communities.
